In Memory of Judy Naglit
July 25 1944 - June 8 2004|

My mother, Judy Naglit, was a dedicated member of the Greater Atlanta Voicemasters (GAVM). She started going to the meetings to help herself cope with the Cancer and the loss of her voice. She ended up helping others by making hospital visits to new laryngectomees, and speaking to school age children about the dangers of smoking. My mom also did the Happy Talk newsletter and helped with the voice instrument loan closet for GAVM. She enjoyed the fellowship and friendship that she found in her fellow Laryngetcomees. She passed away after her 3rd bout with throat Cancer in June 2004. My mother is greatly missed, not just by her family, but all that knew her. Melissa Thompson |
